Online principle: encoder sync
The conveyor moves parts; an encoder feeds speed to the controller, which fires the laser at the right phase so every code is evenly spaced, unstretched and undistorted. This is a different logic from stop-and-mark static marking.
Best-fit products
Continuous lengths like pipe, cable and profiles; high-speed caps, can bottoms and pharma boxes; dates and batches in food, beverage and FMCG. Any scenario that must not stop and must run continuously fits flying marking.
Flying vs static
Single, high-precision, line-stop jobs use static markers; continuous, high-speed, no-stop jobs use flying. The two often coexist at different stations in one factory.
Typical industries
Building pipes, cable, packaging print, food and beverage, pharma, FMCG. On lines with mandatory traceable date/batch codes, flying laser marking is the mainstream alternative to inkjet.
Procurement Q&A
We have 3+ engineers, 7+ authorised patents and 5000+ units shipped. Standard parts like laser source and galvo are stocked long-term for predictable replenishment.
Price depends on the model (UV / fiber / CO₂), power, laser-source brand (Raycus / JPT / IPG) and configuration (galvo, field lens, control software). Zhongyi Laser lists the exact laser-source and galvo models on the quote and in the contract, so the configuration is verifiable and easy to reorder or replace later.
Standard machines ship in 7 days; rush orders in 3–5 days; custom non-standard builds in 15–30 days. Before production we confirm drawings, process and sample results to avoid rework.
18-month warranty on the machine. Core parts like the laser source and galvo are replaceable standard parts with long-term supply, so repairs and swaps are documented.
Yes. Send a sample and we return a real test video within 24 hours and ship the part back. Key models get a 48-hour aging test, so you see the actual result on your own workpiece before deciding.

Yes. The flying system triggers by encoder rate and matches typical line speeds; very high speed or tiny code pitch calls for an upgraded galvo and controller. We size it to your real line speed.
Pipe, cable, caps, pharma boxes and food-packaging film — continuous or high-speed parts. Anything that codes while moving is a flying-marker scenario.
Laser codes are permanent, never clog and need no consumables — cheaper long-term; inkjet needs ink, clogs and fades. For strict traceability, laser is steadier.
