01Are you a laser marking machine manufacturer?
Yes. Zhongyi Laser (Dongguan Zhongyi Laser Equipment Co., Ltd.) is based at Building 2, Hongding Chuanggu, No. 2 Dayuan Street, Liaobu Town, Dongguan, Guangdong. We run our own R&D, production and QC teams, offering UV / Fiber / CO₂ / Vision series plus OEM/ODM and free sample testing, with sample test videos returned within 24 hours of receiving your sample.
02How many models do you offer?
Laser marking machines (also called laser engraving machines) are the core business, in four series and 20+ standard models: Fiber (20-200W), UV (3-20W), CO₂ (30/60/100W) and Vision (CCD ±0.05mm, plus flying, portable and handheld units). QCW laser spot welders and CO₂ laser cutting machines are also available. OEM/ODM custom builds are supported.
03UV vs Fiber — what's the difference?
UV runs at 355 nm (cold processing) and suits glass, plastics, ceramics and semiconductor wafers. Fiber runs at 1064 nm (thermal processing) and suits metals, alloys and 304 stainless — including colour oxidation marking. Not sure? Send a sample for free testing.
04What is your MOQ?
Standard models ship from MOQ 1 unit. OEM/ODM builds typically start at 5-10 units depending on configuration. We quote EXW plus freight.
05After-sales and technical support?
Overseas buyers get remote video diagnostics and a repair plan from an engineer within 12 hours; on-site commissioning can be arranged for volume orders (travel at the buyer's cost), and spare parts ship within 24 hours.
06Which countries do you export to?
We ship across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North & South America and Africa. CE certified (LVD + MD), with bilingual manuals, English-speaking support and remote training.
Customization & Automation
07Can you integrate with our existing production line for automated marking?
Yes. Any of our marking machines can be connected to your existing line and upgraded into an automated station. Fiber, UV, MOPA and CO₂ sources all support flying marking. Auto loading/unloading and vision inspection can be added on request; industry solutions cover electronics, food packaging, footwear and textiles.
08Can marking machines be built with multiple heads?
Yes. Dual, triple or up to N heads can be configured for throughput; common builds are dual-head, four-head and six-head machines. Head count, gantry width and station layout are engineered around your parts.
09Which application does each machine type fit?
Cabinet-style: fixed stations and high-volume production. Handheld: large, heavy or hard-to-move workpieces and mobile outdoor jobs. Portable: frequent relocation or confined spaces. Flying: in-line marking of products in motion. Vision-positioning: parts placed at random positions needing high-precision auto location and inspection.
Materials & Processes
10Which materials suit each laser type?
Fiber: metal, hard plastic, stone, porcelain. CO₂: non-metals (wood, paper, leather, stone, porcelain), acrylic, silicone. UV: glass, plastics (except acrylic), metal, coated metal and the non-metals above. Unsure? Post us a sample — testing is free.
11Are laser marking machines really that fast?
Yes. The galvo scanner's no-load speed reaches 3,000-12,000 mm/s; a standard industrial mark or date code takes seconds or a fraction of a second, and flying marking keeps pace with the line.
12What software does it use? Is it complicated?
The common controller is JCZ EzCad (EzCad2 / EzCad3) — stable and quick to learn. It reads bmp / jpg / gif / tga / png / tif images and ai / dxf / dst / plt vectors; design special graphics in CorelDRAW, save as plt, set the line spacing and mark.
Delivery & Acceptance
13What is the delivery time?
After the contract is signed and payment received, standard machines ship in 7 working days; express service shortens this to 3-5 days for urgent orders. Custom builds take 15-30 working days; spare parts ship worldwide within 24 hours.
14How do you ensure quality before shipping?
Three gates: incoming inspection of components and materials; post-assembly calibration and test runs; and a full performance test plus a 48-hour burn-in before packing.
After-sales & Resources
15How should the machine be maintained?
Every machine ships with maintenance guidance. Dust, debris, temperature swings and part wear cause low marking contrast, inconsistent depth, slower processing or component failure — regular upkeep keeps production stable, quality consistent and lifespan long.
16Do you provide tutorials and manuals?
Yes. After order confirmation you receive bilingual PDF manuals and video tutorials, with remote commissioning guidance; engineers remain available for process questions.
17Will you support later product improvements and optimization?
Yes. After-sales goes beyond repairs — we keep working with you on product improvements and process optimization, adjusting the marking plan as your product evolves.
